I'd like to meet the Chinese guy who was paid to make an ad for aluminum wire on LD5.  That's dedication.    Anyway, because of that, I'll have to validate all new user accounts personally, until I get some volunteers to be admins here.  In otherwords, you'd better make a sensible user account name with some realistic info, or you're not gonna get validated.  I'm not going to be emailing…

Generating activity will attract more activity. Just lurking silently will ensure LD5 fades into memory.

Yeah, as Krll discovered, I guess the 'category' of news doesn't matter, I guess it just means it'll be listed under your private blawg, too.  I need to make an end-user level account to experiment with stuff, since half the links you guys click just lead me to admin stuff. 

So, it looks like I'm allowed to add news items. Oh dear! Well I guess the first bit of news, as you've all likely noticed, is that the new and improved Lavadome Five is now online!

I have discovered this strange new revamped version of good old Lavadome Five. I'm still getting my bearing for now, but I'm liking the look of this strange new land. I feel full of hope for it's future!
