Site migration confusion?

Greetings! l am but a humble crow who enjoys scary lizards and strong automotives. I've been wanting to join this place for months, but never had the courage to until now. But, it looks as if the place is undergoing renovations and is even more confusing than l was expecting. I mean, all l wanted to do was make an account, see what, uh…"Smexy"…videos and games were available, then try posting an overly detailed introduction explaining how l came to know myself. But, the forums! They have only new posts! Where are the classics?!


Anyway, now that l'm done being the most expressive l'll ever be on here, what's the skinny on the site progress? How unfinished of a state did l join in? ls the classic stuff still around somewhere (besides the JAlbum thingy)? Can l get a bit of an explanation on the site's features like uploading and the Faibanx? How long will it take for me to understand the significance of slippers?

I do still have Ye Olde Site and Forumse™ around, and if I can get money for another server, I can put it up in a time bubble for all to see.

I just barely got this system in place, but I want to have people be able to stick up their own art galleries and web sites and have it be a little more accessible than the old stuff.

Blue…Raptor, l think? But no, this is my first time ever interacting with the community. I've seen a few names and artwork, and l read up on that "What is this" page on the last site months ago (good learns, BTW!), but that's all.

Ah, l see. Shame on me for waiting six months, then. Don't worry overmuch about it if you can't afford to host it yet, l just feel good knowing it's not lost.

lt looks like it's overall simple to use, but, assuming things have been uploaded at all, l haven't learned how to browse. lt only leads to what looks like an uploader. Maybe tonight l can try to get the hang of uploading, at least.
Edit: Haha, l think l uploaded to the wrong spot! But if so, then how would anyone see the image?
